The Welding Warriors Club is open to all high school students that are enrolled in the Tuloso Midway welding program.

Purpose:

To recognize our students’ welding abilities and skills at a competitive level.

To further a student’s desire to pursue a career in welding.

To develop the pride and reputation of our welding program at the highest level.

 

Nueces County Jr. Livestock Show Mike Mylner Welding Contest

The Mike Mylner Pipe Welding contest is during the NCJLS the second week of January 2022 in Robstown.  Students from Schools around the County participate.  Tuloso Midway has won the pipe welding contest 3 years in a row.  Congratulations to all the TMHS Students. 

Jose Sanchez won the Pipe Welding at the NCJLS Mike Mylner Welding contest in Robstown.  His second year in a row winning.  Congratulations Jose!

BEEVILLE WELDING CONTEST

The Beeville Welding Contest was on January 22, 2022.   Jose Sanchez placed 2nd in the 6G pipe welding and Melinda Sanchez placed 4th in the vertical plate welding.  .  Melinda is only a freshmen and was competing mostly against seniors.

TMHS Welding Warriors Yahir Cruz and Jose Sanchez competed in the the Huntsville Hornet Welding Event.   Jose won second place in the Level 4 Pipe Welding.  Congratulations to both students.
